The theme of this year’s Symposium is PEACE, and the question is: “Where do you find peace, within yourself and around you?” We will showcase unique peace visualisation projects combining reflection and photography. There will be research presentations and a discussion with world-class experts in positive psychology, therapeutic photography, imaging peace and ethical leadership. The entire event will be an immersion in what we call humanity.
People may find it difficult to define peace. Moreover, peace is often invisible. “Images of Peace” is an invitation for people from all over the world to explore when and how they recognise peace in and around them. People are invited to reflect on and photograph where they find peace – which involves exploring, rediscovering, reconnecting, and witnessing. And thus, they get a chance to create more peace in life in a more conscious and self-confident way. Knowing how to bring peace into life is a way to resist various disturbances.
