A unique book on using photos in coaching

Books are a uniquely portable magic. I’m 4 months on Amazon!

A unique book on using photos in coaching“Books are a uniquely portable magic.” Stephen King’s quote. I’m celebrating today because “ONE IMAGE – MANY WORDS” has been 4 months on Amazon by now. I believe that optimism is a foundation of courage and is essential to achievement. But nothing would happen without a dream, a vision, and great support from people involved – and esp. Agnes Monod-Gayraud, Judy Weiser, and Jacek Szczepański. I’m happy and grateful.

It’s worth!

Enjoy and stay inspired, Dorota Raniszewska 🙂

Taking photos helps to regain life energy

Taking photos can be very helpful in depression, anxiety, a decrease of mental and physical energy, stress. I’ve been going out with my camera for years when I didn’t feel well enough, or my mind was anxious. And, I observed how quickly my energy was back each time I went out to take photos. The mind is busy looking at nature or street around while taking photos. It gets cleared from anxiety. The feeling of peace and engagement is regained.

Openning the mind to the ideas -back to childhood, fun, ease, release

“When you have nothing, the imagination works twice. It’s like a muscle. “- Luc Besson. In one of the interviews, Luc Besson, the creator of the Great Blue, Nikita, Leon The Processional, recalled his childhood. He walked around the city and thought up games because he did not have toys. He invented different stories, wandering the streets. This is how the stories were created and the heroes were born. Openness, ease, fun, putting aside both thoughts, one that maybe “I can not”, and second that perhaps “I already know everything”, open the mind to new ideas that lie dormant in our imagination.

making a self-portrait

On Self-Portrait

Self-portraits are a way to look at yourself from the outside in.

The process of making a self-portrait, which includes posing and snapping the picture, is a way of getting to know yourself, to make contact, to express yourself. It’s a pursuit, examination and attempts to understand what we’re made of. It’s the beginning of a continuous internal dialog, a way to uncover your secrets and become a friend to yourself.

The most important meeting in your life – the one with yourself.

The power of photography

What photos are made from?

You could answer that they are made from light and time. And this is correct.

But I would answer that photos are made from people perceptions and choices to see things. And it is also true.

In both cases, invisible becomes visible.

This is the power of the photography.
